Why is Christmas A Joyful Event?

It is because the Savior, Jesus Christ, was born. The Bible, in Luke 2:10b & 11 records the words of an angel at the first Christmas – “I'm here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide: A Savior has just been born in David's town, a Savior who is Messiah and Master.”
